What to bring

  • Long trousers and a long sleeved t-shirt in natural colors (brown, green, kaki are best)
These are essential when walking through the jungle. Long sleeves will protect you against the sun and against small cuts when walking through tall grass and thick vegetation.
  • A warm fleece
This is only necessary during winter months from mid-November to beginning of March.
  • T-shirts, Shorts, A pair of good walking boots and/or trainers
The shoes must be closed. During the hot season there is increased risk of stepping on for example snakes. Closed shoes will protect against bites.
  • Sandals or flip flops
For lounging around the lodge compound. We suggest you always wear closed shoes when you go for longer walks to for example the elephant camp.
  • A shawl for the evenings, a head torch
